great fun as a fixed gear commuting machine changed the tyres to gator skins (700 x 25) fitted full guards and commutte 22miles per day with absolutley no hassle in all weathers tatally fun and reliable piece of kit

I’ve been riding “hybrids” for the last 15 years because I got tired of the harsh ride of most road bikes – I do a lot of dirt road and occasional trail riding, and skinny tires just don’t cut it. I test rode this bike on a whim, and bought it five minutes later. It is incredibly forgiving for this kind of bike – the carbon forks especially absorb the bumps better than the shocks I have on my other bike. The gearing was a little too high for me so I dropped down to a 39 tooth gear, and the brakes could be a little more grabby, but other than that there is not a lot to gripe about.
