I’m a born-again bike junkie. Bought the Novara Ponderosa in August of 2007 and have since bought three other bikes; 2005 Marin Verona, 1982 Schwinn, 2008 Marin Hamilton 29er. All my bikes, except the Schwinn, have higher tier components, but this is my favorite bike. This 29er was intended to replace the old Schwinn as my commuter (18 miles round-trip on America’s Worst Pavement… yay Detroit suburbs!). However the fun-factor of this bike blew me away. It is now my everything bike, commuting, mountain bike, city cruiser… I’m even going to try some long-distance riding (50+ miles).
